Interfaith Service: His Holiness the Dalai Lama

Monday, September 18; 4:00 p.m.
Alumni Arena, North Campus

(Open to UB students, faculty, and staff, and general public.)

The Campus Ministries Association of the University at Buffalo is proud to host an interfaith service with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. As one of the most revered spiritual leaders of our time, the Dalai Lama is a leading advocate of interfaith gatherings and dialogue. He has specially requested that an interfaith service involving members of our UB and campus religious communities be organized during his visit to UB. Admission to the service is by ticket only. (See below for ticketing information for UB students, faculty, staff and general public.)

The hour-long service will provide participants with the opportunity to reflect on the meaning and cultivation of peace within ourselves, in our community, and in the world at large. It features prayers from diverse faith traditions, song, dance, silent meditation, and remarks by His Holiness. Participants include many of our region's religious leaders.
