UB CTED is pleased to announce the publication of our first report, in collaboration with the School of Geography of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, titled “Adaptation strategies of small and medium rice farmers facing market opening” (in Spanish).  The report, written by Dr. Marion Werner and the Dominican geographer Marcos Morales, is part of a research project funded by the RSA and UB’s CGHE to examine the effects of the free trade agreement between the Dominican Republic, Central America and the United States (called DR-CAFTA) on national agri-food systems.
