During the program, you will become familiar with the campus, the community and a wide range of academic and non-academic resources. You will also be introduced to performance expectations, workload and behavioral strategies that are important aspects of college life and academic success.

Academics

Our specialized curriculum will prepare you with the skills needed to succeed in your college courses. Our intense, credit-bearing courses, along with workshops and seminars, are scheduled from Monday to Friday. You will also have scheduled time for studying and appointments.

Staying on campus

You will reside in UB’s residence halls for the duration of the program, including weekends. Rooms are furnished, smoke-free and are monitored by resident counselors. They’re available 24/7 to help you with any questions or concerns.

Summer bridge participants are required to follow all of the rules and regulations outlined by our program and the Office of University Residence Halls and Apartments. Failure to follow the rules may result in your dismissal from the program.
