technology. Through this Strength, UB is creating a platform for
innovative research that directly shapes the future.
Clustered around three areas of research—information
science, computational science and human-computer
interaction—this Strength brings together faculty from more
than 20 academic departments and includes a number of nationally
recognized affiliated centers and researchers.
Faculty and centers involved in this Strength are working
together to enhance UB's research in computing technology through
workshops, collaborative grants, and academic conferences.
