Our Living Learning Communities give like-minded students with shared interests the opportunity to live together and access programs designed around their goals, making learning here a more personal experience. Our Honors College, one of the nation’s oldest honors programs, brings academically gifted students together for unique learning opportunities.
Real-world, hands-on learning
UB students extend their learning outside of the classroom through internships, service learning, entrepreneurial programs, alternative spring breaks, hackathons and more. Our 80+ study abroad programs provide portals to places and people around the world.

Through our innovative Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (CURCA), even freshmen participate in faculty-led research.
