I direct the Communication 101 program. After previously teaching several courses for the department of communication (Public Speaking, Persuasion, Interpersonal Communication, Interviewing, Research Methods, Nonverbal Communication), I was appointed Director of Communication 101 in Fall 2003. My research interests include interpersonal compliance, deception, and new communication technologies; particularly the way individuals adapt their interpersonal communication strategies to various communication contexts arising from new communication technology. I have earned degrees in communication and psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
