Research Focus: Health Communication
I am particularly interested in the study of persuasion as it relates to prosocial health topics. A large portion of my work is focused in the area of organ donation. Related projects have evaluated campaigns designed to promote donor registration, examined the effectiveness of Organ Procurement Coordinators' requests for familial consent to donation, and considered decision-making processes underlying donor registration. I routinely rely on social-psychological theories and quantitative methods in conducting my research.
