Directions to Downtown Campus

From the West (Cleveland, Erie, Chicago)

Take the I-90 East (New York State Thruway) to Exit 53 (I-190 North towards Downtown Buffalo/Niagara Falls). Go through the toll barriers and continue on I-190 North for 5 miles. Take the Elm Street exit and proceed straight down Elm. Elm ends at Goodell Street. Turn left onto Goodell Street. Turn right onto Ellicott Street. The Downtown campus is at the corner of Ellicott and Virginia Streets.

From the East (Rochester, Albany, New York City)

Take the I-90 West (New York State Thruway) past the Williamsville Toll Barriers. Stay on the I-90 West and shortly thereafter take Exit 51W (Route 33 West towards Buffalo). Continue on Route 33 West (Kensington Expressway) for 7 miles. Note the sign for the "Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus" and take the Locust Street exit, proceeding straight. Turn right onto Ellicott Street. The Downtown Campus is at the corner of Ellicott and Virginia Streets.

From the Buffalo Niagara Airport

Exit the airport following the signs leading to Route 33 West towards Buffalo. Route 33 (Kensington Expressway) begins at the West Gate of the Buffalo Niagara Airport. Take Route 33 West (Kensington Expressway) for 8 miles. Note the sign for the "Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus" and take the Locust Street exit, proceeding straight. Turn right onto Ellicott Street. The Downtown Campus is at the corner of Ellicott and Virginia Streets.

From Route 33 West (Kensington Expressway)

Take the Locust Street exit, proceeding straight. The Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus will be on your right. Turn right onto Ellicott Street. The Downtown Campus is at the corner of Ellicott and Virginia Streets.

From the South (Pittsburgh)

Take I-579 northwest to I-279. Go northwest on I-279 to I-79 North. Continue on I-79 North to I-90. Take the I-90 East (New York State Thruway) to Exit 53 (I-190 North towards Downtown Buffalo/Niagara Falls) and continue on I-190 North for 5 miles. Take the Elm Street exit and proceed straight down Elm. Elm ends at Goodell Street. Turn left onto Goodell Street. Turn right onto Ellicott Street. The Downtown campus is at the corner of Ellicott and Virginia Streets.

From the North (Canada)

Take the QEW south towards Fort Erie. From the Peace Bridge, take the 1-190 South to the Elm Street exit and proceed straight down Elm. Elm ends at Goodell Street. Turn left onto Goodell Street. Turn right onto Ellicott Street. The Downtown Campus is at the corner of Ellicott and Virginia Streets.

Public Transportation

The Metro Rail and Metro Bus Service provided by the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) can be accessed from the campus. For Metro Rail service, use the Allen/Hospital Station at Main and Allen streets. Go one half block on Main Street to Carlton Street and turn left onto Carlton.
