- Center for the Arts (CFA)
The CFA hosts performing and visual arts events year-round. Summer educational opportunities include "Summer@The Center," a technical theater program for adults, college and high school students who have an interest in the technical aspects of the theatrical arts.
- Child Care Center
The UBCCC Summer Camp offers children ages 5-9 hands-on activities, field trips, swimming and other activities on a full or part-time basis. The camp is open to children who are not family of UB staff and students as well.

UB on the Green is a free, outdoor, family-friendly festival of music, dance and fun, celebrating summer in the South Campus community. Live performances, hands-on activities and demonstrations are held on the Hayes Hall front lawn from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday evenings in late July through early August.

- University Community Farmers Market
The University Community Farmers Market is a collaboration between the University at Buffalo, the surrounding South Campus neighborhoods and local organizations to promote wellness and community sustainability through the availability of fresh produce and locally grown food. The 2011 market will run Saturdays May 21 - October 15 from 8:00am -1:00pm on the South Campus on Main St at Kenmore Ave in Buffalo.
