Tickets, Entry and Seating

Know what to expect when you attend commencement — including prohibited items, and information about children.

On this page:

Tickets

Tickets are required for some commencement ceremonies.

This info which varies by ceremony will be posted on each ceremony's information page by January. A link to that information will be available here at that time.

Guests Attending with Children

Children, toddlers and infants are welcome as guests at all commencement ceremonies as long as you follow these guidelines.

Baby Strollers

Baby strollers are not permitted in the seats or aisles in the theater because of the safety hazards they pose. Therefore, the use of baby strollers is discouraged. If a baby stroller is necessary, it must be left in the entrance of the theater at your own risk.

Crying and Disruptive Children and Babies

If you are with a child who is talking, crying or moving around in a manner that is distracting to the ceremony, you may be asked to step outside the ceremony.

For Your Safety — Prohibited Items

Your safety is our first priority. As you arrive, you will be greeted upon entry by security personnel who will conduct a speedy inspection of all bags, purses and containers you may have with you. You may also be asked to unfasten any outerwear. Because of these security measures, please allow yourself a few extra minutes.
