The Lavender Reception celebrates the achievements of graduating students who identify with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community at UB.
This spring's Lavender Reception is intended for students whose graduation term is:
If you will not complete your graduation requirements by the end of the spring semester but would still like to participate in the Lavender Reception, you may do so as long as you will be completing your degree by the end of 2018.
Registration for this event is separate and different from applying for graduation (degree) or registering for a degree conferral (commencement) ceremony.

At this reception, graduates will receive a small gift and a rainbow tassel which they may wear to their commencement ceremony.
Business casual attire is appropriate. Cap, gown and hood are NOT worn at this reception.

Admission tickets are not required for guests of this event. Suggested arrival is 2:45 p.m.
