  Course Description
May be taken independently of ECO 182. The course begins with a review of fundamental economic principles and easures used to evaluate the economy; e.g., gross domestic product, inflation rate, unemployment measures and federal deficits. How the economy functions is then examined, followed by discovery of what can cause economic difficulties. Last is an exploration of policies used to improve the functioning of the economy.
