This course covers the public health perspective of the cancer continuum -- from cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, through survivorship. Applying the public health approach to different stages of the cancer continuum, students will explore factors that result in cancer associated morbidity, mortality, and health inequities, as well as possible interventions to improve population health outcomes.
