Enrollment Requirements


Prerequisites: Co-Requisite: Students must register for MUS 106LEC and MUS 106LAB in the same term. Pre-Requisite: MUS 105.


Course Description


Music 106 is the second of a two-semester course introducing basic topics and skills associated with music theory and analysis. This course--concentrating on Western classical music and modern popular music--completes the study of diatonic harmony begun in Music 105, begins the study of chromaticism, and introduces small formal structures.
