Course Description |
 |
 |
Business and Society in North America: This course is a one-credit experience built around a trip to a designated city in North America. The location of the trip will change semester to semester. Trips will typically take place over a long weekend. The objective of this course and the trip is to build a sense of community for School of Management students while exposing them to careers in different industries. This experience will challenge students to analyze course content from their different perspectives and framework on innovation, customer service and culture. In addition to the engagement of course content, students will apply their learning through the direct engagement of diverse discussions and deliberations. Undergraduate students, with supervision from graduate students, will be expected to participate in the School of Management Undergraduate Research Competition in the spring semester following the trip in order to share their experiences with others. |
