Course Description |

 |
This course will provide students with a general overview of the ecology, geology and climatology of the tropics from a systems perspective. It will focus on the physical and biological processes of the area and how humans have changed it. Marine, freshwater and terrestrial environments will be covered. Geographic areas of discussion will include the neotropics, Southeast Asia, Africa and the South Pacific. Dual listed with EVS 572. |
