  Course Description
This course introduces health economics and the U.S. health care system. Basic economic principles are used to understand health-related economic issues and the impacts of various health policies. Students are expected to be able engage in effective health policy evaluations and debates on these using economic reasoning. ECO 211 and ECO 411 cannot both be taken for credit.
