  Course Description
The course provides a deep understanding of how the Federal Reserve Banking system, commercial banking system, and financial products work in the economy. The course emphasizes on topics such as measurement and management of the financial risks that commercial banks face, with a particular focus on the global financial system. The course teaches students the concepts and tools necessary to understand the interconnections between the financial side and the real side of the U.S. economy, and how the Federal Reserve Bank influence the economy to promote a healthy economy through its monetary policy.
