Building on the concepts and skills developed in Typographic Form, this course introduces students to a systematic approach to the use of typography in graphic design towards building a capacity to work with complex sets of information. The assignments in this course develop and exercise the student's sense of structural logic, style and syntactics. This course equips students with the ability to develop and execute advanced projects in graphic design, such as (but not limited to) mapping, information design/visualization and publication design (print and digital).
