      Course Description
    Definitions of stress, strain, and rotation for finite and infinitesimal theory; global and local forms of conservation laws of mass, momentum, moment of momentum, and energy; use of the second law of thermodynamics in the development of constitutive laws; presentation of constitutive laws for isotropic and anisotropic linear elastic, thermoelastic, linear viscous, viscoelastic, and plastic materials.
