      Course Description
    This graduate level course explores the media of film, video, and audio through a series of short projects geared toward providing an overview of production methods and establishing a basic proficiency in the ever-changing field of media production. Improvement of technical skills is emphasized and creativity encouraged. Primarily aimed at incoming Media Study MFA students, the course also offers an introduction to the array of equipment and facilities available in the Media Study Department. Students are given specific, hands-on instruction in production, post-production and distribution. A lab fee of $100 is assessed for this course. There may be a class fee assessed to your student account.
