Prerequisites: Junior or senior standing in accounting major. Students may not repeat upper-level School of Management courses in which they have earned passing grades without consulting with an academic advisor.
  Course Description
This course introduces students to the various sources of law and the litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes. It also analyzes major legal issues in business decision-making, including intentional and unintentional torts (including negligence and products liability), contract law, agency law, and introduces the Uniform Commercial Code as it relates to sales and lease contracts.
