Course Description |
 |
 |
The primary objective of the course is to introduce graduate- students to the principles and methods underlying human-computer interaction and the design of effective computer interfaces. In contrast to the design of computer systems based primarily on technological constraints and capabilities, theories and methods in human-computer interaction emphasize the design of computer systems which are designed to support user capabilities and task requirements. This course will provide students the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge in the area of human factors, as well as the opportunity to apply principles of user- and use-centered design to a real world design problem. |
