    Prerequisite: ARC 552, Architecture 3.5 Majors Only. ALL ARCHITECTURE 3.5 YEAR STUDENTS MUST REGISTER FOR ARC 553LLB SECTION L4 LAB. Second course in the structures sequence. This course concentrates on the study and investigation of various structural materials, connections, and details. Students will study various design criteria for specific materials, such as timber, steel, and concrete. The students will also be introduced to the proper use of various building codes in the structural design process.
