Tutoring on Tuesday 1/16 is canceled
CLaRI is offering in-person and virtual after-school, intensive tutoring during UB's sping 2024 semester. Spring 2024 instruction will begin on Tuesday, January 16th and will continue until Thursday, April 18th. Instruction will occur every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-5:45 p.m. We will not hold tutoring on Tuesday, February 20th and Thursday, February 22nd, as well as on Tuesday, April 2nd and Thursday, April 4th.
Reading evaluations will be given on Thursday, January 4th and Tuesday, January 9th, from 4:30-5:45 p.m. for children attending tutoring. These evaluations will determine the child's: instructional reading level, orthographic knowledge (i.e., spelling and phonics knowledge), sight word knowledge, writing abilities, and comprehension abilities. Children attending spring 2024 tutoring must be able to attend both of these evaluation sessions.
Families can submit an application for spring 2024 tutoring at any time. Spots fill up on a first-come, first-serve basis. Contact CLaRI's Associate Director, Dr. Ashlee Campbell, with questions about tutoring, the spring 2024 schedule, or the application process.
