Project Details:

Later Life Dementia is becoming an increasingly common and costly problem. Vascular Disease is a common etiology. Computer-assisted 3D visualization techniques may improve interpretation of SPECT images for the diagnosis of cerebral small vessel disease. Future research can compare validity of reader interpretation of 3D visualizations to automated computer quantification in predicting later vascular dementia. This research was supported by a grant from the Gustavus and Louis Pfeiffer Research Foundation.
