Since its inception in 1998, industrial outreach and economic
development within Western New York have been an important
component of CCR's mission. In addition, through CCR's role
in the NYS High Performance Computing
Consortium (hpc2.org), outreach activities now extend
throughout New York State.

CCR continues to be actively involved in community outreach by bringing high-end interactive visualization technology (virtual reality) to high-profile urban design projects in WNY such as the Buffalo Waterfront Development, Olmsted Park's Conservancy, the Peace Bridge Gateway Improvement Study, the Cars on Main Street Project, and the Buffalo-Niagara Medical Campus.
