Christopher Dobmeier's interests are health communication; particularly, stigma effects, and behaviors and attitudes regarding cancer and cancer-preventative behaviors, He has recently teamed with UB's Center for Research in Addiction (CRIA) to explore how stigma from opioid use disorder affects health care interactions and treatment behaviors.
