The Occasional Paper Series

As a Program interested in theory and praxis, the Program has published collections of essays organized around themes of inquiry.  Contributors range from practicing arts managers, distinguished faculty and scholars, and students from the Program.  Published volumes to date have debated funding models, management structures, cultural policy and diplomacy, the aesthetic contract, the seminal question of the Program, “why manage the arts?,” and other associated questions derived from the inquiry into these specific areas.  The Series includes:
