Dr. Hilary Kahn, 2002 PhD from UB Anthropology, will explore international education through the eyes of a cultural anthropologist. Whether engaged in campus internationalization, working with faculty to create global learning environments, developing institutional partnerships, or pursuing interdisciplinary global studies research, Hilary E. Kahn relies on her identity as an ethnographer. She will discuss how ethnographic expertise is essential in the field of international education and how anthropology provides practical and intellectual frameworks to guide global research and the internationalization of campuses, curricula, and classrooms.

Presented by the Department of Anthropology and the Vice Provost for International Education.
