Root named to Business First's "30 Under 30"

The weekly business newspaper, Buffalo Business First, has named Laurel Triscari Root to its 2016 list of 30 successful entrepreneurs under the age of thirty – and her picture was selected for the cover of the June 3 issue!

She was honored at a dinner and awards ceremony at The Tralf on June 9. 

Laurel is the founder of and staff anthropologist for Fresh Batch Insights, LLC, which, under contract, applies ethnographic methods to marketing in other-cultural communities. She was admitted to Ph.D. candidacy “with distinction” in Spring 2016, and is conducting dissertation research on cultural factors in entrepreneurship among refugees in Buffalo.
