As president of the University at Buffalo, I believe that propelling our institution to great new heights is among our most fundamental and fulfilling endeavors.

Over the last decade, we have seen that promise realized in our dramatic rise in the national rankings; in the ambitious and accomplished students we attract from around the state, nation and globe; in the new and renovated facilities where our university community learns, discovers and creates; and in the profound impact we have had on Western New York and well beyond.

A great deal of that progress has been fueled by philanthropy. Through the partnership, generosity and vision of our alumni and friends, we have accelerated UB’s growth and bold ambitions in ways that would not be possible without private support.

Our Boldly Buffalo campaign already has accomplished so much.
