In a recent survey, 96% of Human Resource professionals said that a job applicant's professionalism affects the likelihood of being hired. If an employer Googled you, what would they find?  This workshop will show you how you can create your "professional" on-line identity using LinkedIn, a professional social networking site. Learn how this powerful tool can also be used for networking and job searching. This workshop, held in a computer lab, will give you the opportunity to actually create and update your Linkedin account while exploring the many uses of LinkedIn. It is suggested that you visit LinkedIn.com prior to the workshop and create an account. Space is limited to the first 20 students who register at workshops.buffalo.edu. Can't attend?
