Global Competency can be defined as possessing the knowledge, skills, and awareness that enable an individual to interact successfully and responsibly with people of different cultures, experiences, viewpoints, and values. Part II of the Global Competency Workshop Series will focus on situating yourself in a globalized community. Living and working amongst those who are different, how can we thrive and learn from one another? When conflict arises, how can we navigate it effectively? This workshop will build cross-cultural communication and conflict resolution skills. UB students interested in earning a Global Competency Certificate must register for and attend all three Global Competency Workshops. Certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
