Improving Outcomes for Youth with Type 1 Diabetes
UB School of Nursing presents: “The Third Annual Margaret A. Nelson (BS ’54, MS ’58) Lecture” Featuring Guest Speaker: Margaret Grey, DrPH, RN, FAAN Margaret A. Nelson created this endowed lecture to honor her late children, Linda Nelson Buettner and Bruce Nelson who passed away due to complications to diabetes. The endowment is used to invite a visiting scholar to UBSON to educate regarding prevention, early detection, and management of diabetes and other chronic illnesses.
