Yoga for Student Living
This yoga course is open to all levels of yoga experience. The course will consist of yoga postures/movements, meditation approaches and breath awareness essentials that are key to maintaining wellness through the unique challenges of student life. Learning to balance the nervous system through 'restorative yoga' techniques will be emphasized in each class. No experience is necessary. Dress comfortably; bring a yoga mat if you have one (not required). Please register at workshops.buffalo.edu so we can contact you with any updates/announcements. Please note though that registration does not guarantee a spot in the room -- space is limited so come to class early; first-come, first-served. As with any exercise program, this class may pose some potential risks for its participants. Overexertion and dehydration may cause injury. It is the participant's responsibility to check with a medical provider before engaging in any new physical activity.
