This workshop, suitable for all levels of users, will teach you to use EndNote and it will suggest its diverse uses to you. EndNote is a very flexible database. It will allow you to store and make findable documents in many formats. Bibliography and footnote generation are great; but being able to store, organize and read the PDF versions of articles when needed, store images or other formats - as well as save your thoughts on a reading - can also make you more efficient. The "mechanical" aspects of EndNote use – downloading material off the Web, finding full text and loading full text automatically from within EndNote, and inserting citations as you write - become easier each year. Master the basics; but consider the possibilities. Excluding a little practice outside of class, you're 90 minutes away from knowing how to use EndNote.

This workshop is sponsored by the UB Libraries.
