Yoga for Student Living
Meets Mondays and Thursdays, 9/9/13 - 12/12/13 (except 11/25 & 11/28). Open to all levels of yoga experience. The course will consist of yoga postures/movements, meditation approaches and breath awareness essentials that are key to maintaining wellness through the unique challenges of student life. Learning to balance the nervous system through restorative yoga techniques will be emphasized. No experience is necessary. Dress comfortably. Bring a yoga mat if you have one (not required). Taught by: Tara Laurenzi. Register at: workshops.buffalo.edu. As with any exercise program, this class may pose some potential risks for its participants. Overexertion and dehydration may cause injury. It is the participant's responsibility to check with a medical provider before engaging in any new physical activity.
