What's considered "normal age related memory impairment"? How will I know if it looks more like Alzheimers Disease? I think my loved one is clinically depressed; does this mean that she will become sicker or more impaired as she ages? Are there some definite signs and symptoms I should be looking for? Sometimes I'm so stressed I'm afraid I might take it out on my loved one...is there something for me? What about medications? Can I be sure that my loved one's physician is prescribing medications that will work well together, and not further impair my parent? what about side effects? How long can my loved one stay in his/her own home? If you're dealing with questions like these in caring for someone you love who is aging, bring them all to "Ask the Geriatrician!" an interactive and informal question and answer gathering! Light refreshments will be served.
