Media Mobilities Colloquium
The Technē Institute's colloquium MEDIA MOBILITIES explores the intersection of mobile technologies within contemporary culture. Focusing particularly on the uses (and abuses) of surveillance and the resistant practices of "sousveillance," the artists and theorists assembled here discuss their work with these technologies as they transform respond to the ubiquity of mobile technologies and our experience with these digital devises. Within the diverse work presented here, particular attention is directed to questions of representation, identity, and the navigation of surveillance systems from diverse perspectives.
