University at Buffalo - The State University of New York

The leadership of UB during its first 165 years is celebrated in an exhibit in the Atrium of the Center for the Arts. The exhibition features portraits of UB’s first fourteen chancellors and presidents. Washed in shades of green, red, and yellow, each of the panels incorporates the seal of the university during the individual’s time in office. Text noting the president or chancellor’s contributions to the university is also included.

Panels for UB’s leaders from Millard Fillmore to William R. Greiner were created by Hadley Exhibits for the inauguration of John B. Simpson in 2004. In addition to these thirteen panels, The Inauguration 15th President includes a panel for Simpson and an introductory panel incorporating information about the University at Buffalo’s 15th president Satish K. Tripathi.
