Biography:
As both a principal systems engineer and human factors engineer, Dr. Lozano participated in projects with national and international government representatives. Her interests include the support of human factors engineering, system safety, as well as research and development. Her previous work addressed design issues including the optimization of human performance to reduce physical and cognitive workload. She has immense experience in the defense domain, including being a lead systems integrator for major projects guiding the design, development, and fielding of product systems using a human-in-the-loop approach. Dr. Lozano has a bachelor's degree in psychology from California State University, a M.S. and an M.A. and a Ph.D. from UB. Since then, she worked at companies such as Northrup Grumman Electronic Systems, SAIC, Raytheon Integrated defense Systems, and General Dynamics before pursuing private integration and consultation.
