Starting a career as a new supervisor, whether you are new to the organization, or have been promoted up through the ranks, can seem intimidating. To be truly successful in their position, newly appointed supervisors need orientation and integration assistance. For supervisors who are new to the University or recently promoted, the program will introduce UB management philosophies and the tools needed by supervisors. Some of the topics included in the program are: the role of the supervisor, building a great place to work, managing performance and sources of support for supervisors. The course is designed as two half day sessions and attendees will need to be able to commit to attending both days of the class. Registering for Part A automatically registers you for Part B on February 13, 2013.
