Teaching & Learning Center Workshop
No Experience EndNote: History and Social Sciences
This workshop, suitable for all levels of users, will teach you to use EndNote and it will suggest its diverse uses to you. EndNote is a very flexible database. It will allow you to store and make findable documents in many formats. Bibliography and footnote generation are great; but being able to store, organize and read the PDF versions of articles when needed, store images or other formats—as well as save your thoughts on a reading—can also make you more efficient. The "mechanical" aspects of EndNote use—downloading material off the Web, finding full text and loading full text automatically from within EndNote, and inserting citations as you write—become easier each year. Master the basics; but consider the possibilities. Excluding a little practice outside of class, you're 90 minutes away from knowing how to use EndNote.
