Description: Meant for community-based researchers from any discipline, this workshop will focus on how to extend the results of research into the public eye and the policy arena. The presenters will discuss how to expand the influence of your research and maximize its impact. Topics include working with the press and government officials, designing your publications and materials, creating public events, and collaborating with community partners and stakeholders.
