Sound familiar? Then, this is the class for you! A good agreement is one which is wise and efficient, and which improves the relationship between those involved. Successful agreements satisfy the parties' interests and are fair and lasting. The goal of this class is to help you develop strategies for reaching good agreements. Learning to do this successfully is an art and has been explored in depth by the Harvard Negotiation Project. This class teaches you the method developed by the Harvard Negotiation Project which will help you to take the view that you and all the other participants involved are problem solvers rather than adversaries. That’s more than half the battle. From there, you can employ the strategies presented in the class to negotiate your way to better results.
