POST-ELECTION U.S. FOREIGN POLICY: The Reshaping of the Middle East
The revolutionary wave of demonstrations, protests, and civil wars occurring in the Arab World has already caused a drastic change in the Middle East. The longstanding civil war in Syria is also a central issue in the region. Up until the 2012 U.S. Presidential Election on November 6th, the U.S. government has stayed away from any military action against the Syrian state. What should we expect from the U.S. presidential election? Will there be any major change in the U.S. Foreign Policy after the election? What are its repercussions? Prof. Mustafa Gokcek from Niagara University and Huseyin Ozen from UB will elaborate on the Post-Election U.S Foreign Policy in the Middle East.
