Cave’s special blend of celebratory art is built around providing a platform for people to connect. Inspired by Buffalo’s Rust Belt History and captivated by Silo City, Cave wants to engender a sense of giving, abundance, and pride in this place with a complex history.

The project, “Plenty,” which is being coordinated by C. S. 1 Curatorial Projects in concert with 13 other organizations, will bring Chicago-based artist Nick Cave to Buffalo to lead the city in a series of artistic experiences. Collaboration with local schools and arts and social justice organizations will bring students, visual artists, dancers, and community members together for a series of projects and performances. Plenty will culminate in the summer 2020 with a celebratory parade featuring the community-built floats and dance collaborations that will travel to Silo City for an epic, celebratory finale.
