Dewey Hall
Part of the Governors Complex Residence Halls, Thomas E. Dewey Hall provides student housing.
Namesake
Thomas E. Dewey (1903-1971) was Governor of New York State from 1943 to 1954, during which time the State University was created. He lost a famous close race for U.S. president in 1948 to Harry S. Truman.
