Beane Center
The John Beane Service Center houses the offices and maintenance shops of University Facilities, which is responsible for the planning, construction and renovation of all campus facilities; the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the buildings, grounds, and utility systems; and the provision of environmental health and safety, and radiation protection services.
Namesake
John Beane (1905-1967) was an associate director of planning and development at the University. He served for a time as dean of UB's evening division, Millard Fillmore College.
